Goa brings out the best in us. Sea, Sunshine and Spirits..of all kinds. At the smallest opportunity, we try and go to Goa, even if its for a short break. Over the years, Goa has seen lot of new hotels, bars and sea food restaurants. Each distinctive, special cuisine & above all the Spirit of Goa.
On of the finest hotels in Goa is the Park Hyatt. Located close to the airport, nestled next to the beach and built like a resort, it is one of the finest hotels in India. Thomas Abraham, an old Hyatt professional has taken the hotel to new heights of luxury and professionalism and one can witness the same, in each aspect of the service.
My personal interest was more on the bar, which has a selection of over 30 whiskies incluidng the Lagavuklin, Cola ILA, Laphroaig, Glenmorangie and some premium blends. The bar is well appointed and has soem great service.
Praia de Luz is the stellar lounge at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa. Its sophisticated yet casual interiors make it the perfect space to admire the stunning sunset, nibble on canapés before dinner or simply meet with friends over a glass of fine wine.
The bar offers the choicest spirits from around the world, including a variety of wines ranging from New World to traditional all time favourites. A large selection of innovative cocktails are flamboyantly prepared by a team of charming barmen. Praia de luz also offers a good selection of whiskies, cognacs and liqueurs too. The menu selection includes an authentic range of canapés, cheese platters, and light appetisers.
Praia de Luz commands a stunning view on two floors over the Arossim beach and the pool. A beautiful central round bar and a dramatic round staircase take centre stage while the French folding doors give the space a sense of old-world charm.
A relaxed, romantic evening or a sojourn in solitude are both enjoyable
